Strengthen, Release and Stretch out to sultry and sensual Beats in a flowing vinyasa that responds to the natural spiralling movements of the human body. Uplifting, enabling and calming yoga flow leading into a grounding and liberating stretch and relaxation session in one of the most beautiful pop-up yoga spaces in Singapore.

In fact, the hip flexors is in flexion (90 degrees more or less) most of the time, tensing the muscles around the hips.

If you are not desk bound most of the time, tight hips do indicate that you might be holding negative energy in this area – Fear!

Introduction to Forrest Yoga : 6 week program

Join us for an introduction to Forrest Yoga! Learn basic moves and alignment techniques to improve your body awareness, breathe deeper and strengthen your core in 6 weeks. Understand the basic Forrest Yoga principles of active feet, telescoping ribs, relaxed neck amongst many others, and the reasons why we do it.

This 6-week program is for total beginners who have yet to embark on their yoga journey and want to start in a safe, comfortable environment.

  • Be supported on the mat with guidance & hands on assist.
  • Be supported during the week with your own home practice using the free yoga mat, block & strap
  • Be supported within the community in a small-class setting

Who should attend? Total beginners to yoga who have attended less than 10 classes. No prior flexibility or muscle strength required. Come with an open heart.

What you will receive? 6 one-hour classes each week, free quality yoga mat, foam block & canvas strap. Small class setting with maximum 10 students per class.

Forrest Yoga Workshop series : Free Your Back

Journey with us into the world of Forrest Yoga!

Learn to breathe deeply and connect with your body. Get curious about tracking the sensations with every breath, particularly while healing physical or emotional injuries. Experience how the poses can be modified to fit your own body physiology, at your own pace. Be content with a simpler variation or when feeling energised, be equipped with a safe practice to explore your own boundaries. Play with a mix of vigorous workouts and longer holds. Most importantly, allow yourself a struggle-free practice and receive plenty of juicy hands-on assists!

These series of 4-week workshops are carefully crafted in order for you to gradually deepen the connection between your breath, mind and body.

Free Your Back - Level 1 : Foundation

Experience the healing benefits of Forrest Yoga principles for your back in this workshop series. Learn how to create more space in your lower, middle and upper back in order to soften into your daily challenges. Build a stronger foundation with your core and legs to provide the support you need for a healthy spine.

Free Your Back - Level 2 : The Warrior's Heart

Building on the foundation, take it one step further by opening your heart, freeing up your physical body and releasing tension from your back. Take the brave-hearted warrior's path - even when you feel vulnerable, shaky or scared - use your breath, go on a deep exploration and find the authenticity in your life. Learn to warm up and warm down safely while working on beginner backbend poses with the support of yoga props and the "famous" abdominal roll.

Pincha Mayurasana Workshop with Vikram

This 2 hour workshop is ideal for anyone who are interested in inversion practice and is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner. Vikram will go through a series of poses on how you can strengthen your shoulders, arm and back to improve your Pincha Mayurasana.

Modifications and props will be used. Everyone will be supported and encouraged to work safely with enjoyment!
